[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
Design/Vibe/Vision: From the Bride: I knew I wanted the wedding to feel like a chic garden party and the landscape of Switzerland to be on display.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Proposal Story: Madeleine and Nicholas met in Boston in the Fall of 2019. Nick proposed in Boston in November 2022 and surprised Madeleine with inviting her close family and friends to celebrate after the proposal. Madeleine’s mother is from Switzerland, and she spent much of her childhood school breaks visiting her family in Switzerland. Once Nick was able to visit with her, they knew it would be a perfect destination for a special wedding.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]
From the Bride: I knew the food and drink were incredibly important to my family and guests because we love to eat well. I was so happy with Gourmet Brothers; everything was so delicious and beautifully presented.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The ceremony was set deep in the forest, where we created an intimate and enchanting atmosphere, enhancing the natural beauty without overpowering it. Our goal was to create an atmosphere that felt intimate and enchanting with a balance of elegance and whimsy. We designed a tall rectangular floral arch made of blue limonium became the focal point. Along the aisle, sculptural groupings of hydrangeas, delphinium, limonium, and seasonal blooms in blush, apricot, lavender, and deep blue created a colorful, organic path.
The dinner took place under a grand tent, where the design transitioned to a more structured, elegant tone, while keeping the same color palette. The bride and groom’s long table was decorated with a continuous garden-style floral runner, accented with soft floral cascades at each corner. Fresh fruit added a refined, romantic detail.
Above the bride and groom’s table, Chandeliers adorned of limonium created an airy, textured look forming a striking focal point for the evening.
Round guest tables echoed the same palette, with low arrangements and glass candleholders, creating a warm, glowing ambiance. The candles’ varied heights added dimension, while fruit clusters continued the theme from the long table.
This wedding was about more than just flowers; it was about blending nature with elegance, intimacy with grandeur. Every detail, from the flower choices to the candles, was thoughtfully selected to tell a story.
The after party was a complete party vibe with lights, disco balls, and music continuing![/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was made to match the design of my dress with the florals![/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]From the Bride: Although we did not have a religious ceremony, I knew I wanted the reception to feel spiritual. The gospel choir singing me down the aisle is one of my favorite memories of our wedding!
Their good Friend, Will Reeve (ABC News correspondent based in New York City) was their officiant.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]
From the Bride: Nick and I were completely blown away and amazed by the stunning fireworks show that my Mom and Gianna (Our Planner) surprised us with.
[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Madeleine & Nicholas had a romantic boat ride on Lake Geneva the day before the festivities began. The two of them popped champagne, drove around, and enjoyed the beauty of the views of the French and Swiss Alps.
Madeleine & Nick enjoyed a beautiful and festive rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Hotel Beau Rivage Lausanne the night before their wedding![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]
The invitation suite was designed by the Groom’s father, an artist. He also designed the dance floor wrap!
