the vibe: cowboy disco
Planned by Altar’d Weddings & Design Erica and Jake’s wedding gave “cowboy disco” vibes, and we can’t get enough! The pair celebrated al fresco at German Park, starting with a ceremony bursting with pops of bright florals by Flower Boys lining the aisle for the perfect punch. For their reception, long picnic tables were set with bold mix-and-match jewel-toned napkins, disco ball table numbers, and whimsical bud vase florals in vivid colors like magenta and lemon. This day was full of color and joy around every corner!
the signage
When it comes to your wedding decor, definitely don’t sleep on signage! For this wedding, peach signs with mustard yellow velvet ribbon ties added a funky 70s element to the wedding design, adding to the disco vibes.
what they wore
A dramatic tiered pleated tulle ballgown with pearl embellishments, Erica’s look was a show stopper! She accessorized with a padded headband, pearl-encrusted sneakers, and a delicate pearl-trimmed veil. Her bridesmaids looked equally stunning in 70s-inspired silhouettes with fun elements like ruffles, sequins, and feathers. Jake and his men brought the “cowboy” to the party with Jake in a full tan linen suit and matching Stetson hat. The groomsmen wore crisp white button-down shirts with bolo ties and tan linen pants that coordinated with Jake’s look.
the cake
Keeping with the vintage theme, the couple opted for a trendy Lambeth-style cake featuring a buttercream in the same peach used in all of their wedding signage.
