Sage green, blush, and hints of espresso. Blush was used throughout the celebration in loving memory of Caitlin, Megan’s big sister. These soft pink touches were a heartfelt tribute to her presence and spirit, woven gently into the day’s design. Sage green brought a calming, organic tone to the palette, grounding the florals and décor in a soft elegance. Hints of espresso added warmth and depth, a subtle nod to the fall season and the couple’s late October wedding date.

The couple’s vision for the day was to create a fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere rooted in Southern tradition. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to reflect warmth, hospitality, and a genuine sense of celebration among family and friends. They wanted guests to feel right at home, surrounded by beauty, comfort, and love. The design blended timeless Southern elegance with rich seasonal touches. Warm tones and espresso accents gave subtle nods to the fall season, while soft florals and velvet textures brought depth and softness to the space. The result was a romantic and inviting celebration that felt both personal and effortlessly stylish.

Timothy asked me to be his wife on April 6, 2024. The evening started with dinner with my family. From there, he took me to a special spot of ours, Chace Lake. When we got out of the car and onto the sidewalk that wrapped along the lake, there were pictures throughout the trail of memories we had made over the past 2 years of dating. At the end of the trail was a giant tree, where underneath was a spot he had set up, a bible with my new last name, candles, a letter, etc. There, he got on one knee and asked if I would be his wife. It was the easiest yes! We ended the night surrounded by the people we love most, celebrating a moment we’ll never forget.

The ceremony and reception at Ridge Pointe Events Venue came together in a stunning celebration filled with elegant, romantic details. The ceremony featured a natural wooden cross adorned with lush floral arrangements by Birdsong in Bloom, creating a serene and heartfelt backdrop. Soft blush, ivory, and white blooms lined the aisle in full, abundant clusters, adding texture and depth against the polished floor. Wooden cross-back chairs enhanced the chapel’s airy, light-filled interior, allowing the floral design to truly shine in the simple, elegant space. For the reception, guests were welcomed into a beautifully layered setting featuring both high and low floral centerpieces on luxurious velvet linens from BBJ La Tavola. A striking green banquette from Prophouse served as the lounge centerpiece, topped with a dramatic arrangement of blooms and surrounded by glowing candlelight. Elegant rentals from Decor to Adore completed the look, with white chairs and soft-hued tables creating a cohesive flow throughout the room. The celebration was elevated further with a champagne tower, a stunning bride’s cake by Telia Johnson Cakes, and a glowing custom sign from Say It In Lights LLC, all coming together to create a romantic, timeless atmosphere.

The ceremony began with Chad Glover reading a heartfelt letter from the couple, setting a personal and emotional tone. Iron City Strings provided elegant live music throughout the ceremony, including Canon in D for the family processional, Goodness of God for the wedding party, and Here Comes the Bride for the bride’s entrance. During the family prayer, Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing played softly, and the ceremony concluded with Happily Ever After by Jordan Fish & Angie K as the recessional. At the reception, a band kept the celebration lively with a high-energy playlist, while Onsite Productions added a magical touch with cold spark effects. The couple shared their first dance to Amazed by Lonestar, followed by the father-daughter dance to Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman. The mother-son dance featured Isn’t She Lovely, and the evening continued with crowd favorites like Dixieland Delight, Uptown Funk, Shout, and more, keeping guests on the dance floor all night.

A meaningful detail that stood out was the use of Sozo Children’s custom napkins—supporting a nonprofit close to the couple’s hearts. With a shared passion for missions, the bride and groom incorporated this organization into their day, and students from the program even wrote personal notes to the couple, adding a heartfelt, unforgettable touch to the celebration.
