the vision
The design team at Love Made Weddings put together a gorgeous styled shoot featuring cascading florals, bright colors, and a creative use of the color green. The fun pops of color made for playful images, while the venue itself felt both timeless and chic.
the venue
The Emerson Venue is situated on a large property that has a renovated vintage chapel as well as a beautiful reception space. If couples opt for an indoor reception, which is very common in Texas, there are beautiful, large windows that let in lots of natural light. The floors and walls are also white, which allows for a bright and airy ambiance. The grounds themselves are quite vast and would be a beautiful space to host an outdoor wedding reception. Imagine being able to let your guests (especially little ones) run around in beautiful, well-kept grassy fields. There are also the most romantic twinkling lights where the couple could share their first and last dances of the night.
the flowers
The floral design was created by Fleurette Design Co. She put together the most stunning tablescapes and bouquets, ranging from full and colorful with large blooms, to minimalist with just a few stems. All of the bouquets featured long ribbons, exuding femininity and luxury.
the invitations
With a daring chartreuse and coral color palette, this wedding invitation suite by Hands of Grace Design is playful and unexpected. We also can’t get enough of the tone-on-tone printing on the main invitation card–stunning!
the fashion
The wedding gowns were provided by Bridal Boutique Lewisville, which carries dresses from all of the top designers in DFW. The dresses they provided for this particular shoot ranged from slim and chic to full and flowing. A favorite moment of the day featured a dress that had hundreds of white flowers sewn on, giving the impression that the bride was walking on a cloud of flowers.
the cake
For the finishing touch, one of the couples cut into a timeless three-tiered buttercream frosted wedding cake. The decorations, a combo of painted and live flowers, blur the line between fantasy and reality.
