A preppy green & white pinstripe design complemented with bursts of magenta was carried throughout all signage, florals, and attire.

The inspiration behind Abby and Griff’s wedding day was total Hamptons Heaven. They wanted their guests to feel like they stepped into an all-around-experience resort in Montauk from the second they checked into their lodging. Every step of the weekend was filled with personal touches from the bride and groom, starting with their special handwritten notes to their guests on their weekend itineraries inside their welcome bags (Abby is a big fan of personal notes! Just look at the collection of love letters she wrote to her future hubby that she presented to him during their first look!), which were packed with items reminiscent of A&G’s relationship: chocolates from a shop in the bride’s hometown, a lip balm sealed with the groom’s alma mater logo, snacks from the area and more. From the jump, it screamed “Abby and Griff.”

Griff proposed to Abby at the Reservoir in Central Park, convincing her there was an event they had to go to at the Guggenheim as a ruse! Once they got uptown, he suggested stopping by the park and got down on one knee to propose. Abby was overjoyed and could not believe how perfect the day Griff had planned! That evening, a dinner she thought was just for the two of them at their favorite restaurant turned out to be a surprise celebratory dinner with their immediate families + Abby’s grandparents – another amazing surprise. After dinner, their close friends also joined them – a third amazing surprise in a perfect day.

Abby wore a classic strapless, satin gown by Loverly Bride. A chic low bun created by Honey Hair Co., natural glam makeup by Elle B Makeup Team, and a “something blue” necklace gifted to Abby by her mother completed her elegant look. Sewn into her floral veil was a flowerappliquée from her grandmother’s wedding day veil!

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Abby’s bridal party of 10 wore Azazie bridesmaid dresses in the feminine shade Fuchsia. Against the greenery of the Hamptons hedges, they popped perfectly! [/field]

Griff rocked a sage green suit with the letters “CYB” embroidered underneath the collar, a nod to the couple’s favorite inside saying they say to each other (“Can You Believe?”).

During cocktail hour on the Sole East lawn, guests nibbled on passed hors d’oeuvres like caprese and carpaccio and sipped on A&G’s signature drink, an Aperol Spritz. Family-style dining was the main course. Fish, steak, pasta, potatoes, asparagus – the works – were available for the feasting!

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

A jaw-dropping floral arch created by Designs by Ahn welcomed guests into the reception space. But even before that, guests were greeted with a stylish seating chart display. Designed by Amanda of Scarpaci Designs and custom-built by DJC Productions, it was exactly what Abby and Griff imagined, and really added that upscale touch, preparing guests for a luxurious evening under a magical tent. Mixed into the seating chart were photos of the bride and groom at various travels. Once guests were seated they saw their table was named after a location that held importance to A&G, complete with a little blurb about why it was special to them. Tables were donned with brass lamps instead of candles. Fuchsia florals also took the stage. Up above, strings of greenery fixed with clear globes hung high above the dancefloor.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Just a Mom in a Kitchen, a local baker in Montauk, baked a beautiful ivory frosted, two-tiered chocolate and vanilla cake, which she decorated with the couple’s florals. [/field]

To tie in with their coastal setting, their guestbook was a “message in a bottle,” where guests could write well wishes and love notes to the bride and groom, roll it up, and put it into a glass bottle fit to wash up on the nearby beach.
