A Quiet Ceremony Under a Willow Tree and Tented Sailcloth Reception at Northfield Estate

We wanted to fully embrace the colors of the season with this editorial. Dripping with florals and enhanced by soft velvet, this elevated wedding design brought October romance to life with a quiet ceremony under the big willow tree and a reception underneath Northfield’s sailcloth tent ending with cake and champagne. Brides are embracing color this wedding season, and this editorial inspires with a varied color palette that stays true to the season and luxurious style.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The textured florals in the wedding gown echoed the beautiful texture of the floral design. Keeping a touch of whimsical romance in the design was important to us, and that came out in the dress![/field]

We are all about embracing COLOR and the florals brought together all of the varied colors for this shoot…mustard yellow, lavender, rose pink, burgundy. Florals graced the reception table, the cake, the seating chart, the ceremony chairs, and the entrance to Northfield, all creating a beautiful, colorful, welcoming vibe for this shoot.

Loved the velvet bow napkin rings and the beautiful velvet tablecloth! Also, the two-tiered floating wedding cake.

Pairing complementary colors and varying textures gives depth to a wedding design, so don’t be afraid of a variety of colors! Also, keep an eye out for what is currently trending and add touches of that into the design…we went for velvet, bows, vivid colors, and colored glassware. All if it together created a luxurious and romantic design with a bit of a modern feel. Florals set the tone for your celebration, so don’t be afraid to go big and bold!
