[field title=”Proposal Story”]Matt proposed in front of Saint Peter’s Basilica, which was incredibly special and meaningful, especially to my mom, who’s Catholic, and to both our families. It was such a beautiful moment. Afterward, we embarked on a journey along the Amalfi Coast, visiting Sorrento, Positano, and Capri. Capri was our favorite, and we spent a few days in each place. We had the most magical dinners, enjoying the amazing food and sharing our engagement news, which often led to free champagne and treats. It was absolutely lovely.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Choosing my wedding dress was quite an adventure. In the back of my mind, I always admired Monique Lhuillier’s lace designs, but I had no clear idea of the style I wanted. I’m not the type who always dreamed about her big wedding day, so I didn’t have any preplanned ideas. I went dress shopping for just one day with my mom and mother-in-law in New York. We visited several big stores, and Monique Lhuillier was our last stop. My mom couldn’t make it, so it was just me and my friend Lauren, one of my bridesmaids. When I tried on the dress, I wasn’t sure about the drop waist, but as soon as I saw myself in it, I was in love. It was classy and elegant with long sleeves and a high neck, yet also sexy with a slightly sheer bodice. I was obsessed. Although I initially hesitated to commit because of another dress in mind, after some reflection, I emailed the Monique store that night and claimed the dress. I even added an extra two feet of fabric to the veil for a more dramatic look. My wedding shoes were blue, the perfect Cinderella princess shoes, even though I never imagined having such a big wedding.
My mom went through quite a journey to find her dress too. She was very particular and wanted something that made her feel like an Oscar trophy mom. Eventually, she found a stunning gold dress that made her look fabulous and confident. She absolutely crushed it.

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]For the bridesmaids’ dresses, I leaned into my newfound love for pink, even though it wasn’t originally my favorite color. I wanted all my bridesmaids to feel their best, so I chose different shades of dusty rose for their dresses. I allowed them to pick whatever style they wanted, whether it was feathers, sequins, metallics, or anything else, as long as it was in the dusty rose color palette. This approach gave them the freedom to choose dresses they loved and felt comfortable in, and the overall look was beautiful and unified. Inspired by Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s wedding, I ensured the decor, including the chairs, was elegant yet simple, creating a chic and elevated ambiance. The wedding decor featured green and white elements, and the dusty rose dresses blended perfectly, adding a lovely contrast.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]For food the menu consisted of a shiraz wine poached pear and bitter green salad with fig balsamic vinaigrette, duo of balsamic basted beef tenderloin and butter poached lobster, boursin potato puree, rainbow carrots, champagne butter sauce, cabernet [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The wedding included lush floral arrangements with a mix of white delicate blooms. The flowers were arranged in a way that complemented the venue’s natural beauty and added a touch of romance. We had 2 large and lush trees as centerpieces in 2 of the focal tables that were surrounded with lounge furniture used as guest seating. A structure was constructed over the dancefloor with hanging greenery and shiny disco balls to give it a modern and festive look. Soft, ambient lighting was used to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tables were adorned with candles to give it a romantic flair.
The reception tables were adorned with simple yet elegant table settings, including ivory linens, fine china, and crystal glassware. The centerpieces were typically understated, focusing on candles and floral arrangements.
