A Refined Mediterranean Wedding Amid the Coastal Beauty of Mallorca

Elegant and timeless, with a refined Mediterranean touch. The design blended natural textures, soft greenery, and classic white florals with the blue of the sea and sky as a backdrop. The vision was to create an atmosphere that felt sophisticated, airy, and deeply connected to the stunning landscape of Mallorca.

They were introduced by mutual friends, but Kristina believed Brandon, who was sporting a full beard, to be much older than her, so she quickly shut down any idea of romance. A full year later, she found a message from Brandon on a social media site she hadn’t looked at for a while. Curiosity got hold of her, and she had a quick peek at his profile, only to discover that he had moved over 300kms away and, to her delight, had shaved off his beard, looked super handsome, and was definitely in the right age bracket. They reconnected and messaged each other day and night. Brandon was persistent in his requests for her to visit him, but she was reluctant and confessed to being a bit fearful of dating a football player. Brandon, however, was determined and drove the 300 km to her hometown to surprise her. It was definitely the right move as they started a long-distance relationship from that very night. Within 6 months of meeting, Kristina arrived at Brandon’s door, laden down with luggage, and joked that she was moving in. Little did they know that during her stay, the nation would go into lockdown, and they decided to ride it out together. Kristina stayed and never left. Cupid had struck his arrow, and their relationship grew from strength to strength. Brandon was certain he had found the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, so he made plans for a ring to be made and asked Kristina’s parents for permission to marry her. A couple of days later, life changed dramatically when Brandon received a call to say he was moving to a club back in Australia. He left straightaway, and Kristina followed soon after, but the ring was yet to be finished. He arranged for it to be delivered by her parents during a surprise visit to their new home in Australia. A month later, in April 2024, Brandon commandeered the help of their friends Chantelle and Devante to set up a beautiful picnic area in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. During the picnic (with friends hiding in the bushes to catch the moment), Brandon dropped to one knee, produced the beautiful ring from his back pocket, and asked that all-important question. Of course, she said yes, and they continued to celebrate with champagne and a meal in a fancy restaurant, followed by cocktails in their favourite bar where all their closest friends were waiting to celebrate with them.

The bride wore a stunning gown that combined modern elegance with timeless design. Its clean lines and delicate details were perfectly suited to the grandeur of Son Marroig and the natural beauty of Mallorca. BRAND: THE IVORY ROOM BRIDAL

First dress: Marquise Bridal Tyler gown. The Veil was made custom by the designer to match the lace of the dress. Shoes: Jimmy Choo Romy 100 with B loves K personalization on the sole. Another sentimental thing, my earrings were from Dior. My mum and I chose them because they had butterflies on them, and they remind me of my grandpa, who used to call me a butterfly in Serbian as a kid. He was also the one who encouraged my mum to „let me go“ because he had a good feeling about Brandon right before he passed away, and Brandon and I started seeing each other. Sadly, Brandon never got to meet him in person, so the earrings were my little ode to him.

Brandon was a standout on his own, just looking dashing in a suit he bought 2 days before flying out to Saudi Arabia, and got it altered 3 days before the wedding in Germany

Brandon, from the moment you showed up at 2 am in a dinosaur park car park, under a sky full of stars, I think my heart already knew— this was going to be something unforgettable. They say love often arrives quietly. Yours came in the form of a message on Instagram, an account I never blocked, a beard I thought meant you were too old for me, and a 300km drive that changed everything. Since then, your love has never stopped showing up. You are my calm in the chaos, my anchor in the storm. In a world that often demands we move faster, do more, be more, you remind me to slow down, to breathe, to find joy in simply being. Your career, while full of passion and purpose, has never promised us roots in one place. We’ve lived out of suitcases, embraced the unknown, and made homes in moments rather than houses. And in that journey, I’ve learned something profound: home isn’t a place—it’s a person. And you, Brandon, are my home. the saying goes, “Till death do us part,” but even I know that death could not keep our souls apart so I am here to say that whether it’s this lifetime or the next my heart will always find you— and you Brandon, will always have a home as long as I am here There is a quote I hold close to my heart: “I have found the one whom my soul loves.” That’s you, Brandon. Kristina, from the moment you came into my life, you lit it up with a fire I never knew I needed. You’re beautiful inside and out. You’re fierce, loyal, passionate, and full of the kind of love that holds a family together. You’ve stood by me always, right or wrong. You’ve had my back in ways I can’t begin to count. And every day, I watch you pour your heart into our little family. With tenderness, strength, and a kind of love that knows no limits. And so by standing here today in front of you and the people we love the most, I make this promise to you: That for as long as I live, I will continuously try to match that love with my own. I will try to be the solution to your problems. I will protect you, uplift you, and always be your safe space. I will love you fiercely, truly, and endlessly. Because all I want, now and forever, is to give back to you what you so selflessly give back to me and to us. I love you, Kristina, and I always will.

Nothing sentimental about any of this really however I did choose to not wear my actual engagement ring on the wedding day, instead I wore my push present ring which is basically the upgraded version of engagement ring, and it features two birth stones on the inside of the band, which are Penelope and Lucas and since they are both blue I decided to wear this ring as both my something blue and sentimental piece as it reminds me of the new chapter in our life with Lucas birth which wasn’t the easiest but we stood the test and obviously having Penny close with me because she can’t be there. So the ring to me represents strength, family, love, and resilience.

Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing everyone who matters there on the day, celebrating our love and supporting us. Since we’ve moved so much and live so far away, we don’t really get family time, so it felt like a family reunion in the most beautiful way. Also, the first dance was just so us. We purchased a dance class, did the first 3 classes, and then Brandon was off to Saudi Arabia, and I saw him next in Germany after 4 weeks of being apart. We only had 5 days left to practice, and with Luca crying and hitting Brandon every time we tried to dance, it was just impossible. In the end, we just said let’s just wing it (like we always do. Even though it was just a step le, ft step, a right kind of thing, we ended up doing it, and it felt so much more intimate, not rehearsed but raw and real. It was just us being us in the moment.
