For Amr and Sheerene Idriss (world renowned dermatologist!), their 10-year wedding anniversary was the perfect excuse to celebrate their love and gather with family and friends from all over. Because of this, they joyfully dubbed their day the “party with no particular purpose!” Captured by Ricky Rodriguez, the couple’s private waterfront residence in Connecticut was the perfect setting to transform into a fusion of Secret Garden and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Planned with the help of Jordana Marie Events, every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the custom linens and napkins to the bold florals by Pic & Petal and the hand-painted paper goods by Bespoke Designs.
Warm welcome for guests
Guests were greeted by Amr and Sheerene and found their seats using floral-inspired place cards set on a bed of live moss. Guests of the party included the pair’s closest family and friends, including Real Housewives of New York City’s Ubah Hassan.
Personalized menus
Once seated, guests were provided personalized menus by Bespoke Designs with elegant green font and a watercolor floral border in colors that complemented the florals that surrounded guests.
Theme: Secret garden
Guests entered a space absolutely covered in a rainbow of colorful florals thanks to Pic & Petal.
Hanging single stems
Single stems hung from the ceiling surrounded by greenery, and these same florals appeared running all the way down banquet tables and onto the floor in lush arrangements.
