February in Vietnam marks the beginning of Spring, so the couple chose a mix of vibrant colors and pastel shades for their big day. Sage, gold, lilac, orange, ivory, blush, and yellow provided the color palette for the day and were brought to life in incredible floral arrangements and installations. Guests were also encouraged to wear specific colors, instead of a traditional dress code, with suggestions ranging from shades of blue to mandarin orange, mustard yellow, forest green, and lilac.
Like every couple, they wanted their wedding to be beautiful, but prioritized the design of their ceremony and reception seating to create an atmosphere of connection. Their ceremony took place in a half-round format with a custom-built aisle and altar right on the beach. Then, guests made their way to an open-air reception where serpent tables allowed for easy conversation.

The unique design emphasizes the strength of a light-handed approach to decor. Fragile, long-stemmed flowers, a delicate sculptural bouquet, and stacked produce installations provided movement and added an element of fantasy to the day.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]In keeping with the tropical destination, the couple cut into a light whipped cream-frosted cake with fresh pomegranate, blueberries, and orange slices as decor. They opted for a large rectangular cake instead of a tiered cake. [/field]
