A Vibrant Coastal Wedding with a Surprise Ceremony

This couple knew they wanted, and needed, to have a big celebration with all of their family and friends, but they also really loved the idea of a small ceremony where they could be married in a more private setting. So the team at Glint Events suggested the idea of a surprise ceremony at the rehearsal dinner, and it went even better than anyone could have imagined! ⁠Guests were shocked and elated to see the groom riding in on his boat in a white tux. Family members were seated at the end of the dock while guests stood for the brief and sweet ceremony. Sarah Grace’s younger brother walked her down the aisle and everyone celebrated their nuptials by tossing rose petals as they walked the dock.

Sarah Grace opted for two unique looks for her wedding weekend. For Friday’s surprise ceremony she opted for a floral off the shoulder gown by Monique Lhuillier paired with pink Manolo Blahnik heels. Saturday she went for a more classic bridal look with a white, off the shoulder dress, also by Monique Lhuillier.

Sarah Grace and her bridesmaids wore Nap Dresses by Hill House to get ready. Her bridesmaids then wore dresses in varying shades and patterns of pink (strong Barbie vibes!) to much the colorful vibe of the weekend.

This bride loved color and pattern so the team at Glint Eventscreated a fun design throughout the entire weekend of events to reflect her aesthetic. Guests got a small glimpse of what the weekend was to bring when they received their floral-focused watercolor invitation suite by Sue Corral Ink. Pulling in a variety of floral based patterns and hues for a unique and colorful weekend that was perfectly reflective of this couple and their lifestyle, and added to the celebratory atmosphere. Both the rehearsal dinner and the main wedding event were overflowing with vibrant floral installations from Isha Foss Design.

The bride, Sarah Grace is the owner of Low Tide Boutique in Urbanna, VA so it was no surprise that she opted for a fun outfit change for the party. Her incredible reception dress from La Vie Style House was perfectly reflective of the colorful weekend.
