[field title=”The Inspiration”]
This shoot, intentionally designed by Positively Charming Weddings and captured beautifully by Sheff Production, was inspired by the timeless romance of vintage details, layered with clean, modern elegance. The vision was to evoke a soulful, intentional celebration—where every space felt like a thoughtfully curated room in a European estate. The Ebell of Long Beach, with its Spanish Revival architecture, hand-tiled floors, and sculptural light, set the perfect backdrop. From the floral-fruit escort card display with sand-filled candles to the draped ceremony arch, signature cocktails, and working typewriter guestbook, every vignette told its own story of texture, warmth, and elevated charm — with plenty of intentional guest experiences woven in

[field title=”The Venue”]
The Ebell of Long Beach was the heart of the story — a historic Spanish Revival venue filled with arches, natural light, and rich textures. The day unfolded from the moody, dark-wood billiards lounge — where the bridal party snuck away for champagne and laughter — to the light-filled grand hall draped in sheer fabric for the ceremony. Every room offered a new chapter, blending old-world romance with effortless California elegance and curated guest experiences. A vinyl record nook and spinning gramophone added a nostalgic, cinematic vibe, while the vintage billiards lounge created an unexpectedly playful escape — perfect for sipping champagne, capturing editorial moments, and offering a touch of unexpected delight.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The bride wore the sleek, structured Catalina gown by Evan & James from Blush Bridal Couture, featuring architectural draping and sheer side panels for a modern touch. Her look was completed with soft curls pulled into a low chignon, a long veil, and embroidered heels from Bella Belle — an aesthetic that felt at once refined and relaxed, echoing the quiet luxury of the setting.

Bridesmaids wore minimalist satin gowns from AW Bridal in a deep olive color, striking against the neutral tones of the venue. The groomsmen were dressed in timeless black tuxedos by Friar Tux, finished with floral boutonnieres. Their styling added texture and cohesion, elevating the group aesthetic while keeping the focus on natural elegance.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
The florals, artfully created by Brooke Bloom Co., were designed to feel organic, dramatic, and slightly wild — using mocha and blush blooms with hints of plum, layered with flowering greens, textured vines, and seasonal botanicals. At the altar, soft drapery framed sculptural arrangements grounded in moss and surrounded by sand-filled glass hurricanes. A live violinist set the tone for vows that felt both modern and deeply personal, adding an emotional layer to the already cinematic ceremony. Inside, the reception featured antique lace linens, candlelit centerpieces, and low, lush arrangements of hellebores, cosmos, and spirea, blending old-world richness with modern restraint. The cake — a minimalist sculpture in fondant, draped like soft fabric and surrounded by a sea of candlelight — felt more like an art piece than a dessert, echoing the elegance of the space.

[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]
The escort card table was a true standout — a floral-fruit installation with pillars nestled in sand and calligraphed name cards tucked into wooden holders. It felt like a cross between a still life painting and a warm welcome. Guests also loved the signature cocktails — a Smoked Old Fashioned and a Tequila Espresso Martini — served with a printed recipe card that guests could take home as a thoughtful keepsake. And of course, the working typewriter guestbook stole hearts, inviting everyone to slow down and leave a tactile love note — a poetic and playful moment that grounded the experience in sentiment.

[field title=”Tips To Pull Off The Look”]Let the venue speak — choose a location with architectural personality and natural light to elevate even minimal decor. Blend old and new: vintage pieces like typewriters or antique linens can live beautifully alongside sleek gowns, intentional florals, and modern tabletop items. Keep the palette tonal and warm, and use soft candlelight generously to bring emotional texture to your story.

[field title=”DIY Moments”]
While the event was professionally styled, the escort cards and bar menu were created with a personal touch in mind — custom designs by Paper Cliché that were printed and individually assembled using thoughtful presentation elements like wooden stands and brass pins. These small, handcrafted details brought warmth and personality to the celebration without requiring full DIY execution.
