[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Italian vibes in a relaxed California setting. Utilizing textures and pattern to give a lived-in feeling with wood elements and custom made linen napkins.
Our design centered around the idea of understated luxury and really focusing on moods in each nook of the event. From the ceremony floral baskets, so the shape of the chairs, we wanted the details to really speak for themselves and make guest feel like they were in the yard of a Villa. At cocktail hour, guests were escorted to the vista point to take in the sweeping views of Sonoma valley. Moving into the reception space, we focused on the stone terrace and grapevine covered walls as our anchor, with layered details and custom elements throughout. Our florals were created to give a loose and elegant feel, again with texture and interest in color.
Elements like fabric cocktail and seating chart banners, a champagne tower and the twinkle ceiling in the dancing space allowed the mood to change from experience to experience. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]-Morgan and Brandon were vacationing in Italy in August 2021. Brandon was planning on proposing to Morgan during the second half of their trip in Capri, but after seeing the stunning Pantheon view from their hotel room’s balcony in Rome, he knew that the balcony was the perfect place to propose to Morgan. One night as the sun was setting behind the Pantheon and while getting ready for a dinner at their favorite restaurant in Rome, Brandon told Morgan that he wanted to take her photo on the balcony from the piazza below. Although it was very unlike Brandon to suggest a photo shoot of any sort, Morgan didn’t see the signs of Brandon proposing that night – she thought that it would most likely happen in Capri! Excited and nervous, Brandon went outside to the piazza to take the photos of Morgan from their balcony and on his way back into the hotel, he told the hotel concierge he was about to propose to his girlfriend on the balcony facing the Pantheon, and asked them to film the it. The concierge ran out into the piazza to film the proposal, while Brandon ran up to the room to propose to Morgan. On August 27, 2021 Brandon got down on one knee confessing his love to Morgan on their hotel balcony in front of hundreds of people in the piazza below. Next thing Morgan and Brandon heard was “Bellisma” shouted from below in the piazza. The rest of their trip was spent celebrating in Rome and Capri! [/field]
