A Timeless Garden Affair Set against the backdrop of Madeline’s family’s estate in Stockton, CA, Madeline & Max’s wedding embodies the essence of a Spring garden, timeless and chic, with a touch of French-inspired romance in honor of Max’s heritage. With a soft color palette of almond, muted peach, baby pink, butter, bone, and olive, the design feels effortlessly romantic yet refined. Lush florals, delicate paper goods, and elegant tablescapes create a harmonious blend of natural beauty and understated luxury. The ceremony, framed by a dreamy garden setting, transitions seamlessly into an open-air tented reception, where formal yet inviting details set the tone for a night of celebration. [field title=”Wedding Gown”]from the bride: I wanted to wear something timeless and elegant and bring in some texture with my veil. And I think the same for Max, we wanted him to look sharp and classic. I loved my dress. It was so comfortable and the fit was spot on. I changed into a Shona Joy dress at the reception and it was fun to have a separate look that was still gorgeous but more comfortable to move and dance in. [/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Madeline and Max’s wedding was not just a feast for the eyes but also a beautifully curated culinary experience that honored both family heritage and their shared love of fine flavors.

A deeply personal touch was woven throughout the menu with Madeline’s family’s estate-grown olive oil, a business founded by her late grandfather and still run by her family. As a tribute, this liquid gold was infused into the celebration in meaningful ways—from dipping breads at dinner to personalized bottles as escort card gifts and even a signature Olive Oil Martini.

Given the couple’s shared love for martinis, a dedicated martini bar featured their favorite Classic Dirty Martini with Hendrick’s gin, a vermouth wash, and olives, alongside an Espresso Martini and the distinctive Olive Oil Martini for a smooth, unexpected twist.

Adding to the lively cocktail hour, mobile oyster shuckers roamed the party, offering guests a selection of freshly shucked oysters with unique accompaniments, bringing an interactive and elevated element to the evening.

Dinner was a seasonal delight, featuring a stunning selection of stone fruit dishes and indulgent ribeye or scallop entrées, all thoughtfully designed to highlight fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

A timeless garden romance with French-inspired charm, Madeline and Max’s wedding was a vision of effortless elegance. A lush floral arch of butter-hued blooms, soft pink roses, muted peach accents, and trailing greenery framed their vows, blending seamlessly with the estate’s natural beauty. The reception exuded warmth and refinement, with wooden accents, soft linens, upholstered seating, an airy draped tent, and cascading greenery. Twinkling lights and candlelit tablescapes set the mood, while romantic florals, elegant Provence-style china, and refined flatware added a touch of old-world charm.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]For the sweet finale, the couple’s wedding cake was as much a work of art as it was a dessert—a tiered masterpiece adorned with an abstract floral design reminiscent of a Monet painting, making it a breathtaking focal point throughout the evening.

from the bride: My cousin was our officiant, which was meaningful on a number of levels. He had previously been married on the property last year, so it was special to have him kind of pass it on to us.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

olive oil seating chart – Madeline’s family makes olive oil, so incorporating this into the wedding was really special for them. From the bride: We loved that people could take home and enjoy our olive oil and hopefully think of our wedding whenever they used it.

Martini bar – They are huge martini drinkers, so this was such a nice touch, and the MadMax martini was again very special since the gin was fat-washed with the family’s olive oil.

The New Design Band was incredible. From the bride: My parents got married 30 years ago and had an incredible 12+ piece band at their wedding (at Flood Mansion in SF). Our family loves music, and I grew up dancing with my dad at father-daughter dances, weddings, and birthdays. To have such an incredible band and to get to do my father-daughter dance with a live band to (You are the Sunshine of My Life – Stevie Wonder) was incredibly special and something we’ll look back on fondly for many years.
