Inspired by a traditional southern garden party, they wanted the tented space filled with romantic spring florals, making it an inviting space to celebrate their new marriage! The lawn was festive for their brunch celebration complete with a coffee bar and mimosas!

Micah wore a cathedral-length Monique Lhuillier gown that was timeless, classic, and elegant in every way.

After the ceremony, guests celebrated at a stylish cocktail hour with a Mimosa bar and butler-passed appetizers, such as mini quiches and bacon-wrapped dates. Townsend Catering served a Southern-inspired plated brunch with “Chicken n’ Waffles” and of course, the crowd favorite, “Shrimp n’ Grits.”

Flowers in shades of white, cream and pink, mixed with luscious greenery created a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and reception that enhanced the natural beauty of the venue and locale.

The wedding cake by J. Cameron Cake was a breathtaking, five-tiered cake adorned with intricate sugar art echoing the floral motifs of the wedding. Guests sampled both flavors: Italian Pear, a vanilla bean sponge cake layered with Sicilian pear jam and Italian meringue buttercream, as well as Lemon Berry, a lemon cake with tangy lemon curd, blackberry preserve, and lemon zested Italian meringue buttercream.

For the ceremony, the couple chose a mix of traditional and contemporary for their processional. Starting with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” for family, the Groom then walked down the aisle to “Yellow” by Coldplay. The Bride entered the Seaside Chapel to Bridal Chorus by Wagner. Later, at the reception under the sailcloth tent, the newlyweds shared their first dance to the soulful tunes of their favorite bluegrass band, surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
