An Intimate Three-Day Celebration Woven Through the French Riviera

An Intimate Three-Day Celebration Woven Through the French Riviera

We chose a palette of soft neutrals, blush pinks, and gentle greens. I wanted everything to feel romantic, serene, and connected to the natural beauty of the South of France, and those colors just brought it all to life.

It was a three-day celebration of love and joy with our favorite people, set across some of our most cherished places in the French Riviera. We kicked things off with a welcome party with our close friends and family at a beach club in Cannes, had our ceremony in the traditional 1776 family home in the hills of St-Mathieu overlooking the village of Grasse, and wrapped up with a relaxed poolside brunch. I wanted everything to feel elegant but effortless, and most of all warm, intimate, and full of heart. One of my favorite design elements was the circular ceremony setup, which made it feel like we were being held in a big, loving embrace by all our friends and family. And there were these sweet little moments that made it feel even more magical, a gentle sprinkle of rain after the ceremony, and then, just as we finished, a ladybird landed right on my hand. I’m not religious, but I am spiritual, and that tiny sign meant so much to us.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Barrett proposed in Costa Rica, and it was perfectly simple, funny, and incredibly intimate. We were at our hotel, and I genuinely thought he was just tying his shoelace. I was rushing him, telling him we were going to miss the sunset, when I suddenly realized what was actually happening. It caught me completely off guard in the best way. Just the two of us, in this beautiful place, laughing and crying, it was unforgettable.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]

I wore a breathtaking gown by Rosa Clará, it was everything I’d dreamed of: refined, elegant, and so romantic in its silhouette. For the evening, I changed into a Retrofête dress that brought a fun, modern edge to the celebration. My hair and makeup were done by the incredible Jm Honeyz and @jmronquilloglamteam, who created a soft, romantic look with a classic updo that made me feel super comfortable and beautiful.

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

My bridesmaids wore dresses from Maids to Measure. I loved how the soft, muted tones complemented our pastel color palette. Each gown flattered their individual styles while still feeling cohesive, which was really important to me.

Barrett and the groomsmen wore timeless suits from Suit Supply that perfectly matched the elegant feel of the day. The classic cuts and styling perfectly complement the relaxed sophistication of the French Riviera.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

The food was absolutely delicious. We worked with Citron Pavot Traiteur, who created a menu using fresh, local ingredients that felt so refined but comforting at the same time. We had signature cocktails crafted by @dna.bartending and a beautiful wine selection curated by @pepites_de_vin. Every bite and sip felt like a celebration.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Roni Floral Design brought so much magic to the day with breathtaking floral arrangements that felt like they were growing straight from the ground. The decor came together with furniture from @be_lounge_officiel, elegant tableware from @maison_options, and dreamy ambient lighting by @lilys_prod. It all felt effortless and enchanting.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Our cake was a giant pavlova and it was bloody amazing! Fresh, light (which was honestly such a nice touch for a wedding dessert), and absolutely gorgeous. It was made by Citron Pavot Traiteur, and they nailed it. I still think about it… and I know I’m not the only one who went back for seconds.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

Our ceremony was deeply personal. It was led by Lucy Till French Weddings, who was our celebrant and absolutely incredible. We created a fusion ceremony that included a traditional structure alongside a Burmese water pouring ritual. It felt like such a true reflection of us and our story. We had beautiful readings and poems shared by my grandma and my best friend; each one added so much depth and heart. As I walked down the aisle, we chose Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis. Her version of the song is so soft and emotional, and it sets the perfect tone. And then the party… @gatsbyband was phenomenal. They lit up the stage like nothing else. Their energy, talent, and presence completely transformed the night. Honestly, the most amazing band ever. They brought everyone to life and created such an electric, unforgettable atmosphere.

We had a fireworks display by @pyrokervenka, and it was absolutely magical. Seeing the sky light up above us while surrounded by everyone we love is a moment I’ll never forget.

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

We had a photobooth by @yland.cie, it was such a fun way for guests to capture the night, and we now have this amazing collection of candid, joy-filled snapshots. We were incredibly lucky to work with the most wonderful team. Our photographers, @peterandveronika, captured the weekend so beautifully that they truly put their hearts into it and gave us photos that feel like memories frozen in time. And our videographer, @tobifilms, created a film that makes us relive the emotion and joy every time we watch it. Both the photographers and videographers went completely over and beyond to make us happy and take in every moment – they are true GEMS! A huge thank you also goes to Lucy Till French Weddings, the team was an absolute dream to work with. They brought our vision to life with such grace and calm, and managed the entire weekend with incredible care, detail, and heart. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Our ceremony took place at our family home in the hills of Grasse, a place full of childhood and summer memories. The house dates back to 1776 and overlooks the old village. It’s truly one of those timeless, soul-filled places. The moment we stood together in the garden, surrounded by flowers that looked like they were growing straight from the earth, with our loved ones encircling us, I felt this overwhelming sense of love, peace, and connection. The light rain, the ladybird in my hand, it all just felt like a quiet kind of magic.
