From childhood friends to lifelong companions, Ashlee and Aris from Australia spent a lifetime evolving their relationship from a deep friendship to a profound love. The couple said “I do” at a breathtaking wedding in July in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. The enchanting Giardini di Principessa di Piemonte in Ravello was the perfect venue for the couple to exchange vows on a terrace overlooking the coast. Black bows for a black tie event
Ashlee wore a stunning tulle ballgown with textured bodice by the timeless Vera Wang Bride, while her bridesmaids stayed true to a black-tie affair in fitted black crepe dresses with a bow accent on the back. Alex Perrin created the perfect natural glam for each member of the wedding party.
A thousand white flowers
Ashlee and Aris’s ceremony was adorned with a floral masterpiece created with a thousand white flowers that enveloped the couple and created a stunning backdrop against the deep blue sea.
Hiring a portrait artist for cocktail hour
The couple hosted a portrait artist for their cocktail hour who created colorful, editorial-inspired portraits of the guests.

Styling a black and white themed reception
The reception, elegantly themed in total black and white, unfolded in a villa strategically positioned to offer panoramic views of the sea. The ambiance was nothing short of magical, with music that led to a fantastic dance celebration lasting until the early hours of the morning for the couple and their guests.
Ceremony flowers for the cake table
Ashlee and Aris didn’t let the 1000 white flowers go to waste! A number of the arrangements were moved to accent elements of the reception, including the stunning cake table with lace-trimmed linens. The cake itself (courtesy of Sal de Riso) was all-white to match the black and white theme while maintaining interest through an asymmetrical texture.
