We wanted the color to reflect the vibrant and regal colors of the Bridgerton era. We have chosen a color palette that includes a mix of bright and pastel shades reminiscent of the Regency period’s opulent and romantic style. – Purple and Soft Lavender, Dusty Blue, Warm Coral, Peach, Blush Pink, and Gold. We incorporate these colors into various elements of the wedding, including the decor, attire, flowers, and stationery

The The Blushing Details, led by the Carol Keiner, known for her exceptional creativity and meticulous attention to detail, created and planned a modern twist on a Bridgerton-inspired wedding for the couple Angeline and Hamed. With her expertise, she embarked on a journey to infuse timeless romance with contemporary charm, bringing the couple’s dream to life. Carol had a brilliant idea, helping Angeline and Hamed brand their wedding with the assistance of La Design Boutique. Together, they crafted a unique silhouette of the couple, lovingly taken from one of their cherished engagement pictures. This silhouette became the soul of their wedding decor, gracing their cake, invitations, and all their stationery.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Angeline and Hamed are college sweethearts. They like to say the Dalai Lama brought them together after they both attended an event in Inglewood where the Dalai Lama was speaking in 2014. Angeline was covering the event for their college newspaper, and Hamed attended for their college radio station. After they both graduated from Cal State LA in 2016, they spent two years apart doing long distance as Angeline attended grad school in Berkeley. When she graduated in 2018, she and Hamed went on a Europe trip, where Hamed popped the question overlooking the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. During their first year engaged, they spent another year apart as Angeline accepted a job offer in New York City. She came back nine months later, and they immediately tied the knot at the Beverly Hills Courthouse in an intimate ceremony with just their immediate family. Angeline and Hamed are a creative couple, so they wanted to share their interests and their story with their wedding guests in unique ways. For instance, on every table, they had a QR code linking out to a podcast they produced before the wedding that walked through significant songs in their relationship.

Angeline was a vision of timeless beauty in the “Karina” dress by Abella Bride on her wedding day to Hamad. She had found this gown at Bellasposa Bridal, where she instantly fell in love with its regal elegance and intricate details. As the bride, she aspired to embody the essence of a “diamond,” a young lady of the court chosen by the queen herself for her exceptional grace and charm from the series Bridgerton.

Angeline and Hamed’s quest to craft a unique and delicious drink for their Bridgerton-inspired wedding led them to EJ Cayaban, the talented mixologist behind Barkada LA. With an understanding of the couple’s love for the Bridgerton era, EJ set out to create a drink receipt that would be a tribute to the couple’s love story.

Jina Choi of De Flora Event Flowers created the most amazing flower designs for the wedding, from the floral arch, the florals on the gate, and the floating flowers above the long tables in the reception space. Jina used a combination of greenery, roses, and florals that were in season to achieve a beautiful, garden-lush look throughout the wedding space.

Branding their wedding was a dream come true, thanks to the talented Anna from La Design Boutique. With her artistic touch, Angelina and Hamed brought their love story to life by creating a unique silhouette of one of our cherished engagement pictures. This silhouette became the heart of our wedding decor and gracing their cake with real flower.

As a couple who works in the entertainment industry (Angeline works as an entertainment reporter for Good Morning America, and Hamed owns his own sound design studio in Hollywood called Melody Gun), they wanted guests to feel like they were in the world of Bridgerton, which is Angeline’s favorite Netflix show. They worked together to make that happen by creating a personalized Lady Whistledown program for guests, Bridgerton-themed drinks and made sure that the string quartet continued to play during the reception.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The couple opted for a condensed Catholic ceremony, which was officiated by Father Brian Delvaux of the Good Shepherd Church before the couple exchanged their own written vows. To honor the bride’s Filipino heritage, their sponsors draped a veil and cord over the couple and lit a unity candle to signify their union. In honor of the groom’s Iranian heritage, the couple took part in an Aghd ceremony where the officiant, Ali Ghadaksaz, led a sugar and honey ceremony.

As far as traditions go, the bride and groom paid tribute to the bride’s filipino heritage with the guests’ party favors. Each guest received a fan that was made in the Philippines and had the couple’s hashtag on it.

To honor the groom’s persian heritage, they had a Sofreh (see descriton in #1), which had a Quran, Persian desserts, coins and more.
