The bride told planner and designer Kayla to “have at it!” as long as the theme remained coastal. The freedom that came with it allowed Kayla to bring together a stunning tapestry of summertime florals with bright, vibrant colors. From oranges to pinks, to yellows, to purples, to reds, to just about everything in between, the flowers laid the base for a breathtaking, colorful, elegant wedding.
The ceremony took place overlooking the ocean, with the sailcloth reception tent also in view. The ceremony was minimal yet impactful, featuring simple wooden chairs and stunning floral arrangements that adorned the aisle, along with a gorgeous, grounded arch with hundreds of flowers arranged in an ombre color scheme. The reception boasted customized pergolas at the entrance with sitting vignettes available for enjoying throughout the reception.

The bridesmaids were able to choose their dresses — as long as they were colorful, they fit the bill! The dresses coordinated beautifully and fit each bridesmaid’s personality so well (and isn’t that the beauty of getting to choose your dress as a wedding party member?).

The wedding featured signature cocktails, including ranch water and a transfusion, a refreshing drink made with vodka, ginger ale, lime juice, and a splash of grape juice. Cocktail hour included passed hors d’Oeuvres, and the reception featured stations with prepared plates of short rib, crab cake, and — in true Charleston fashion — chicken and waffles.

Lindsay and Chris’s wedding was adorned from top to bottom with summertime goodness, from the floral arrangements to the custom-painted bar and everything in between. The sailcloth tent’s had a grand entrance with custom-made pergolas, beautiful wicker furniture, and a runway of tropical, lush plants. The reception tables were filled with ranunculus, poppies, and roses of every bright and bold color, combined with citrus fruits and figs. The space also included lantern lights also custom custom-painted to match the bar and pergolas.
