
A total of 34 countries have the marriage for all. In Europe, 19 States have opened up marriage to same-sex couples. Outside of Europe, five to ten more countries allow marriage for lesbians and Gay men.
In Europe, these 18 States have opened up marriage to same-sex couples:

The Overview shows that there has been in many European countries, a trend towards marriage.
First, it was created for lesbians and Gays, a special partnership Institute which was called in the countries of marriage in which the partners had from the beginning to have the same rights and obligations as spouses. Then the approval of the full adoption followed to the right, and finally, the Opening of the marriage.
