the vision: straight-up glam
Designed by Wild Tamarind Bahamas, Connie and Edwin’s destination celebration at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas was full of unique details and custom moments around every corner! For their reception, glam was the name of the game, with luxurious touches from the place settings to the florals by Wildflowers.
their love story
Edwin and I first met in Las Vegas and it was love at first sight as they say. Well, he didn’t know it but I could tell. He was smitten with me. We got along so well. Edwin’s always in a good mood and knows how to calm me down when I panic. I love it.
the destination: the bahamas
Our wedding was the first wedding in both of our families to be a destination wedding. The beautiful Caribbean blue waters had to be shared and that’s the only way we would be able to get both of our families down to The Bahamas and experience the beauty it has. Both of our parents don’t really like to travel so it was the perfect excuse.
getting ready
Festive balloon arrangements adorned the bridal suite as Connie’s full glam team helped her prep for the big day. She opted for a dramatic smokey eye and neutral lip paired with an elegant updo and of course, a tiara. After slipping into her off-the-shoulder lace gown, her mother helped her fasten a dramatic diamond necklace featuring a dazzling teardrop pendant.
a Jewish ceremony
You can’t legally be married in The Bahamas after sunset, so the couple chose to do their ketubah signing before their nighttime ceremony for a one-of-a-kind ceremony celebration under the stars.
