Indian inspo fused with a Lake Como feel. Our ideal plan was an al fresco dinner nestled in the mountains. Virginia weather in April was a little chilly for guest comfort so we enjoyed a gorgeous ceremony and cocktail hour outside and moved everyone into the reception space as the sun dipped behind the mountains. Guests were then invited into the reception space for an Indian inspired family style feast and a dance floor that didn’t stop.

Keirstin had the best of both worlds with a gorgeous custom lehengas that matched the groom’s attire. Even their dog Marty had a custom fit from the same Indian designer. Her western gown was simple and stunning!

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Bridal party wore assorted lehengas that coordinated with the brides! It was fun to be in the bridal ready room as all the Aunts of the groom helped the ladies into their outfits. [/field]

We worked with the catering outfit on a custom menu with an indian appetizer station, passed bites, an indian inspired family style meal complete with custom desserts that paid homage to the groom’s indian heritage and the brides italian background. Their dog Marty “hosted the bar” with a Mar’s Bar sign!

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The table linens inspired the invitation with a repetitive pattern similar to patterns used for traditional attire. That linen pattern then repeated on our invitation suite with a blind deboss into the main invitation.
The florals were stunning with a drippy mandap, a beautifully floraled swing, and stunning tables with florals and fruit draped down the table.

We had a small cake for a cake cutting moment but the desserts were the star of the show! The Catering Outfit provided Mini Cannolis and Gulab Jamun!
