[from the bride] We wanted to host a wedding that felt like an intimate dinner party with our nearest and dearest. A lot of our inspiration was taken from interior design photos and cozy tablescapes. Our wedding planner, Jacqueline, did an amazing job helping us understand our own vision and helped us sprinkle in unique elements to our classic wedding. Choosing Cielo Farms to be our venue was the first amazing decision Matt and I made together—the venue allowed us to enjoy an outdoor wedding where we could really appreciate the beautiful Malibu mountains. For florals, we used soft, bloomy pinks and white flowers.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
The first dress was a classic, minimalist strapless dress by Sarah Seven. I changed into my second dress shortly after the ceremony, which was an embroidered, strapless dress by Dany Tabet. I also wore a custom set of diamond earrings and a necklace gifted to me by my parents. My makeup and hair were very minimal- I wanted to look and feel like myself on the wedding day.

Matt wore a custom tuxedo by Tailored Gents and shoes from Bruno Magli. He also wore a blue watch gifted to him by my parents (a Korean tradition!).

[from the planner] Jane & Matt wanted their closest friends surrounding them in the beautiful ceremony setting at Cielo Farms. We opted for a circular ceremony setup with a beautiful organic floral installation by Siren Floral Co. We wanted to keep it garden-esque and organically composed of precious blooms.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”][From the planner]
We decided to go with a classic white wedding cake for Jane & Matt featuring delicate sugar flowers & leaves.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
[From the bride] The ceremony took place overlooking the mountains, timed to be around sunset. We opted for a circular setup with the wedding party (all 21!) sitting down so everyone could enjoy the ceremony. Matt’s former swim coach, Jon, officiated the ceremony, which was incredibly special as Jon had made a lasting impression on Matt when he was younger. It was absolutely surreal and magical.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]
[From the bride] The morning of the wedding, Matt and I had a slow morning together- we shared gifts and cards. He got me a pair of pearl earrings, and I got him a film camera to capture all our future memories together.

[From the bride] The most memorable moment from the wedding was walking into the reception with the band playing in the background! We were stunned by how beautifully Jacqueline’s team set up the reception space.
