the love story
When Zach and I took our first vacation together in 2020, we had no idea it would inspire one of the most important days of our lives. That hiking trip to Arizona—complete with glamping under the stars and spotty cellphone service—brought us closer in ways we’d never imagined. We fell in love with the desert’s serene beauty, and it quickly became a special place in our story.
Fast forward to planning our wedding, and it just felt right to return to Arizona. Zach discovered the venue at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain, and from the moment we drove up, we knew it was perfect. The elegant architecture and warm desert surroundings made us feel right at home. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, a wave of excitement hit us—we could already picture our dream day unfolding there.
the ceremony
The ceremony took place under a beautiful floral chuppah crafted by Florals by Kendra, a traditional Jewish canopy that symbolizes the home we’re building together. It was such a meaningful moment, filled with love and tradition, and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Arizona landscape.
the fashion
Our bridal party added a touch of timeless elegance to the day. My bridesmaids wore stunning blue-green dresses that mirrored the natural hues of the desert, while the groomsmen looked sharp in classic black tuxedos. Together, they perfectly complemented the sophisticated yet laid-back vibe we envisioned.
the tables
Designed by Chere Rosalie, the intimate reception space was aglow with candlelight dancing off of glass and disco ball accents on every table. Blue and white printed linens served as a backdrop for the playful tablescape and were anchored by whimsical blue and white floral centerpieces.
the party
One of the most memorable parts of the evening was our choreographed first dance. We had so much fun learning it and couldn’t wait to surprise our guests! The dance floor quickly became a highlight of the night, filled with energy, laughter, and joy as everyone joined in to celebrate.
