We used candles, white flowers, greenery, and crystal vases. We wanted to keep it clean, and eliminate any clutter or colors that took from the venues…we wished to enhance what was already there.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
We chose the Palace Of Fine Arts for our ceremony because Scott’s great, great grandfather was the architect. We knew we always wanted classic/formal.. and this was just the place! We chose for our wedding party to be in black and keep flowers white with greenery as it went nicely with the stone of the rotunda.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]
I am obsessed with the holidays. The family time, the decorations, the trees! I love it all. Scott took me to NYC for a week as my boss kept telling me I needed to use my PTO. I had never seen the tree at Rockefeller or the light show at Saks 5th Avenue… and I am a planner, so we had an agenda while we were there. He canceled our dinner reservations the first night so we could get some Christmas spirit in at the beginning of our trip. As we wrapped around the light show to the tree, he got down on one knee… he had a photographer and had been chatting with my closest friends about the ring, and I was in the dark! I felt like I was in a movie, and for a guy who claims to hate planning… he KILLED it!

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
I had two gowns! I wanted classic and elegant for my ceremony gown. Marriage means a lot to me, and coming from a traditional family, I wanted something timeless. It had a high neck, long sleeves, and buttons down the train. For the party, I went for the other side of me. FULL glam with sparkly feathers to dance the night away.
