[field title=”The Inspiration”]For our workshop in Tuscany we wanted to curate a 5-star luxury experience at the beautiful Monteverdi Tuscany outside Montepulciano. Like Monteverdi Tuscany, the editorials were inspired by a unique blend of modern, stylish design and the organic textures of Tuscany. To complete the story, two editorials were designed to showcase a welcome dinner and a full wedding day. The bride wore fashion forward designs by Danielle Frankel, each styling item was an intentional choice, and we brought in organic floral designs by Winsome Floral to balance the clean design. [field title=”Wedding Colors”]Blush, green, beige, mauve, pink, black. Red and strawberry for rehearsal dinner. [/field]
[field title=”The Venue”]Monteverdi Tuscany is located on a medieval hilltop in the Val d’Orcia region of Tuscany. The property offers the highest quality in design, art, and client experience and we wanted our wedding designs to reflect that. It offers a balance of modern design with centuries old stone facades and epic views.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]As a fashion forward bride, she wore Danielle Frankel for both her welcome dinner and wedding day. While keeping with the classic white, the choice of a corseted top and pants offered a chic approach. The clean design of the wedding gown paired beautifully with the textures around the venue and floral pressed veil by Jane Rhyan Bridal. [/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]For floral design, we wanted to pull from the textures and organic nature of the vegetation around Monteverdi. Keeping the colors a bit classic (but not neutral), and the placement of the ceremony, allowed the gardens at Monteverdi to also shine. Winsome Floral design a growing ground meadow for the ceremony and clean centerpieces for the tablescape. For the welcome dinner, we highlighted fruits and vegetables from the region, as well as florals tones that played off the colorful plates on the tablescape. At Monteverdi, the design also includes a modern touch with black iron rods and black accents. We wanted to keep the editorial design as a reflection of the venue, and therefore choose black chairs for the reception space and in other accent pieces like the flatware and candleholders. The stationery and paper also stayed decidedly modern. [/field]
[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]A favorite design element of the welcome dinner was the color combination of the tablescape. This was the perfect opportunity to go bold with color, utilizing red and strawberry tones as an anchor. Tie That Binds curated stunning paper for both the welcome and wedding day that were unique and completely different in style for each editorial. [/field]
[field title=”Tips To Pull Off The Look”]Less is more is certainly more. Looking for quality over quantity is key. We sourced intentional, beautiful items for the welcome bags, focused on a high quality designer for fashion, and constantly stressed a balance between clean lines and organic textures which came in mostly from the florals and stationery paper.
