When these two tatted fitness influencers decided to tie the knot, they knew they wanted something outside the ordinary but that still gave them all the traditional wedding day feels. Weddinglam took it from there and brought all of their dreams to life, from the custom fragrance favors to having an artist give the bride and groom tattoos on the spot at the reception. the theme: ancient elegance meets contemporary
Irene and Gianmarco are two Italian fitness influencers and personal trainers. They live in Dubai but their dream was to come back to Italy with their entire family for their wedding day. They chose the ancient and prestigious Villa Grabau, one of the most famous venues in Tuscany. They wanted a timeless and sophisticated wedding with crazy entertainment. I wanted to create a contrast between the ancient villa and some contemporary details.
the fashion
The bride was radiant in a sequined tulle ballgown with a sexy corset bodice that showed off all of her tattoos. The groom also went black tie with his attire, donning a classic black tux for the ceremony but ditching the jacket for a more laid-back vibe for the reception.
a garden ceremony
In the garden, framed by two white floral pillars and crystal chandeliers, Gianmarco waited for his beautiful bride to grace the aisle. Guests were seated in clear acrylic ghost chairs surrounded by all-white floor-level floral arrangements by Clori Fiori.
a unique favor
This has to be one of our favorite wedding favors we’ve ever seen! Each guest was given a fragrance displayed beautifully on a custom-built wall.
serpentine tables
We love serpentine tables and we especially love how they filled out this historic venue for this reception. Vines hung from the wooden rafters and candlelight reflected off of a mirrored table runner as guests took their seats, escorted by mirrored name cards.
the cake
Three generous cake tiers floated on acrylic stands decorated with live flowers to create a stunning vignette. As the happy couple went outside to cut the cake sparks flew, literally, creating a moment they’ll remember forever.
