Victoria & Max planned a beautiful summer destination wedding in Colorado. Their colorful countryside wedding at Rist Canyon Inn combined the charm of nature with the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of a rustic venue. This charming setting not only provided ample opportunities for beautiful, naturally lit photos by Roaming Photo but also immersed everyone in the tranquility and beauty of the countryside.
Creating a festive – not festival – vibe
The inn offered a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for a wedding weekend that felt intimate yet festive. Colorful details also brought the festive vibe, from custom floral-embroidered Converse to pink and orange mountain-inspired invitations.
Clear umbrellas + colorful style
A little bit of rain early on couldn’t stop this wedding party from having a good time. Clear umbrellas topped a team of bridesmaids dressed in toned-down colors of the rainbow, while the groomsmen donned light blue suits with orange accent ties.
Extra, extra! It’s the big day
At the ceremony, guests were offered newspaper-inspired programs.
Ceremony setting: Rolling hills
The ceremony was set against rolling hills with vibrant details that bring a burst of color to the serene landscape.
Adorable beer burrows
Victoria really wanted to focus on the fun details of the day, and they wanted to entertain their guests with unique and fun vendors. With the help of Mountain Magnolia Events, they brought in two burrows courtesy of Sparrow Hill Beverage Burros during cocktail hour to serve drinks & take photos with guests.
Vintage truck bed bar
Their bar was also an interactive experience, Tap Truck is a vintage truck fitted with a tap bar in the truck bed, which was such a fun moment for their guests to enjoy!
