their love story
Alice and Taylor met through mutual friends, though they had seen each other around London before and already knew of each other. Together, they love to travel, cozy up on the sofa for movie nights, and share their passion for Italian cuisine. Their shared love for food and music made their relationship even closer.
a historic venue on lake como
For them, choosing Lake Como as their wedding destination was easy. Villa Pizzo had always been a dream venue, with its breathtaking ceremony area right on the lake and its stunning villa, built in 1435, rich with history—the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. After they got engaged, Alice shared her vision of Villa Pizzo with Taylor, who encouraged her to reach out to the venue. To their surprise, there was one Saturday date available in 2024: the anniversary of their engagement, exactly two years later. It felt like fate.
the vibe: classic elegance
For their wedding ceremony at Villa Pizzo, they embraced a classic, elegant, and vintage style with blush pinks, vibrant accents, and touches of white and green. Celebrity guests from Los Angeles such as Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson, Italian designer Maria Sole Cecchi, and important finance figures from around the world took part in the event.
getting ready
The bride prepared for the day in the Bellini Suite of the beautiful Hotel Passalaqua, where the famous composer Vincenzo Bellini wrote his music at the beginning of the XIX century. Alice wore an embellished Elie Saab gown with a long train and veil. She styled her hair in a sleek bun and opted for natural makeup, completing her elegant look. For the reception, she changed into a custom silk slip dress by Silvia Astore, featuring delicate touches of French lace.
