[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]This wedding was a coastal dream come to life—timeless elegance with just the right touch of seaside charm. We worked with a soft palette of whites, greens, and subtle blues that set such a calming, romantic vibe. The florals were lush and classic, paired with greenery and little pops of blue on the menus, name cards, and accent linens that tied everything together beautifully. For the plated dinner, we made sure every detail was thoughtful, from the sleek white chargers to the candlelit tables and delicate bud vases that added a soft, intimate glow. It was the kind of day where every little detail just felt so perfectly in sync, creating an atmosphere that was warm, elegant, and truly unforgettable.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Ryan’s mom, Anna, was spending a relaxing day with her friends Bryan and Grayson at their family beach house in WaterSound when the topic of Ryan came up. As they chatted, Grayson—who just so happened to be Alyssa’s friend and coworker—had an idea: “Wait a minute… I think Alyssa and Ryan would be perfect for each other!”
Fast forward two years to October 2023, and that casual conversation turned into a love story. Ryan planned the ultimate surprise proposal in 30A, the place that holds so much meaning for both of them. Just before sunset, on their favorite stretch of beach, he got down on one knee and asked Alyssa to marry him. But Ryan wasn’t done yet! After the proposal, he brought her back to the beach house where it all started, and both of their families were waiting to celebrate the moment together. It was such a full-circle moment, tying their story together in the most special way.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]When Alyssa started shopping for her wedding dress, she had a clear vision in mind. She wanted a style that felt classic, elegant, and timeless while still being practical for her coastal Florida wedding in September. Alyssa was searching for something light and comfortable to suit the warm weather but with just enough drama—like a stunning train—to make it feel truly special.
The second dress she tried on checked every box. The fit was flawless, the design was effortlessly beautiful, and it struck the perfect balance of simplicity and sophistication. When she saw herself in the mirror, she could picture walking down the aisle in it, and she knew right away—it was the one. It was everything she had envisioned and felt perfect for the day she and Ryan had been dreaming of.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Alyssa chose Bella Bridesmaids for her bridal party attire, selecting a gorgeous soft blue color that perfectly complemented the florals and overall wedding details. The shade brought an elegant, airy feel to the day, while allowing each bridesmaid to choose a style that suited her best. This thoughtful approach created a cohesive yet personalized look. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The food and drink at this WaterColor wedding were absolutely unforgettable. Guests were treated to a gorgeous plated meal featuring a dual entrée of tender short rib and flaky grouper, paired with the most amazing potatoes and broccolini. It all started with a fresh burrata salad that set the tone for the evening. Every detail of the meal was beautifully presented and so delicious—WaterColor really went above and beyond to make the dining experience feel just as special as the rest of the day.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The florals and decor for this wedding were all about embracing those classic coastal vibes. We kept things timeless with beautiful white blooms and lush greenery, adding just a touch of blue to tie in the serene surroundings. It was simple, elegant, and felt perfectly in tune with the setting.
What really made the design shine was the combination of classic florals and candlelight. The soft glow created such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making everything feel intimate and romantic. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to highlight the natural beauty of the day, creating a look that was effortlessly elegant and completely unforgettable.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was such a beautiful reflection of the day—classic and elegant in the best way. It had a simple white design with delicate pearl details that added just the right touch of sophistication. The look was timeless and effortlessly chic, making it a perfect centerpiece for the reception. It wasn’t just gorgeous, though—it was every bit as delicious as it looked, perfectly tying into the couple’s vision for their day.[/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The night-before party was a perfect example of teamwork and adaptability. With a storm on the horizon, our vendor team came together to completely reimagine the event, relocating it to a new venue and redesigning every detail from scratch. As we watched Hurricane Helene’s path closely, the energy in the air was electric—not with stress, but with anticipation and excitement for what lay ahead.
Amid the flurry of adjustments, we discovered a beautiful family connection. Over 30 years ago, in September 1989, the groom’s parents were married during Hurricane Hugo. Now, with Hurricane Helene making its presence known, it felt like history was repeating itself in an unexpected way. It was a moment that added so much meaning to the evening, as if these storms were somehow woven into the family’s story.
What started as a challenge turned into a night full of laughter, resilience, and unforgettable moments. The entire experience set the perfect tone for the weekend, bringing everyone together in a way that felt deeply personal and incredibly special.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The wedding day turned out to be nothing short of extraordinary. After days of uncertainty and watching the storm’s path closely, we woke up to the most beautiful weather—a calm, clear day that felt almost like a gift. It was one of those rare moments where everyone seemed to recognize just how lucky we were to witness the beautiful side of things, especially after so much anticipation and preparation.
What made the day even more profound was the juxtaposition it carried. There was an undeniable weight in the air, with many people feeling the intense heartache and pain caused by the storm. Yet, in the midst of that, we also witnessed a breathtaking new beginning—a celebration of love and commitment that brought so much light to the day. It was a reminder of life’s resilience and the beauty that can emerge even in the face of challenges.
This balance between heartbreak and joy made the day feel even more special, as if the universe was offering a moment of hope and renewal. It wasn’t just a wedding—it was a deeply meaningful celebration of life and love, surrounded by the people who mattered most.[/field]
