The inspiration behind this shoot was actually drawn from the Friends episode “The One With All The Wedding Dresses”. I wanted to design a shoot involving multiple female models and a shoot where you could feel the whole women support women vibe & “Saturday’s are for the girls” feel. When planning a wedding, it is obvious that a bride and her fiancee get to enjoy all that goes into creating a special day but also a bride needs her girls! There is so much to celebrate between the bridal showers, bachelorette parties, standing by a brides side on the most important day of her life and celebrating years of friendship. This shoot was geared towards all of the amazing women who make each other feel special on their big day.
We also had an amazing team of women business owners in on this shoot. Jenny Cookies created the amazing sundae cake (which is a nod to a friends photoshoot google: friends ice cream sundae) and we had Desiree Hartsock provide three gowns from her bridal collection! Having a former Bachelorette involved gave us even more Galentine’s Day inspo (will you accept this rose?) We had models that we felt represented a Rachel, Phoebe, and Monica which was fun and Libby Tipton created a “will you be my bridesmaid” suite rather than an invitation suite. So many fun details with such a fun theme!
