a venue and a view
Perched on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, the couple knew they found their venue as soon as they saw the view from inside Casa Angelina. The vibes only got better as the day went on and the sun began to set just before the ceremony, giving the entire venue an otherworldly glow. According to the bride, “Casa Angelina is the most beautiful hotel on the Amalfi Coast, and it made the whole experience so magical.
the winged ‘idyllia’ gown by galia lahav
Inspired by the glamour of the 1970s, the Idyllia gown by Galia Lahav is a lace dream. The made-to-order gown is an ethereal combination of beaded lace and a light blush lining. This figure-hugging mermaid dress offers a low back and a dramatic wing with accentuated shoulders.
We asked Amanda about her dress shopping expereince and how she knew that she had found “the one”. Here’s what she had to say…
Picking out my dress was definitely one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. I worked with Browns Bride in London, England. I have always known about Galia Lahav. I tried on 15-20 gowns, but when I tried on Idyllia, I immediately felt it was so ‘me’—romantic, elegant, yet sexy. The moment was so special, and my mom and I knew instantly that it was the one. I was overwhelmed with so many emotions!!! I felt like a princess but also like the best version of myself.
Anna Smith Bridal Hair styled her long brown hair in toussled waves that accentuated the daring neckline on her gown. Silvia Bianchi created a dramatic moody makeup look with a bronzed base and dark wine-tinted lip.
a father-daughter first look
If you love the idea of a first look but want to save the big reveal for the ceremony, consider a first look with your parents or your wedding party. The photos turn out absolutely precious and it’s a memory you’ll cherish forever!
the prettiest orchid bouquet
For the elegant affair, Rosalinda Flowers Wedding created the most delicate white orchid bouquet with gently cascading grasses that danced gracefully in the wind as Amanda walked down the aisle.
a sunset ceremony
Guests took their seat on the spacious lawn with the water sparkling in the background. White rose arrangements enhanced the already breathtaking view. As the light began to fade behind the cliffs that line the coast, Aaron awaited his lovely bride silhouetted by the setting sun. Then, on the arm of her father, Amanda walked down the aisle toward the love of her life, the delicate beads of her gown catching the light as she moved.
a monochromatic rooftop reception
Crisp white linens and chairs set the stage of the all-white decor. Artful orchids in bud vases lined each of the tables along with countless candles that set the entire roof aglow well into the night. We love that Amanda kept her mantilla-style veil on for the first half of the reception because…well, just look at these photos!!! So, note to self: wear your veil as long as humanly possible–you’ll be happy you did!
a candlelit dinner
After the sun went down, the only light came from hundreds of flickering candles and the glow of the moon on the water–it doesn’t get more romantic than that!
a perfect lambeth wedding cake
Lambeth cakes are trending hard at the moment, but this must be the biggest one we’ve ever seen! And do you see that cookies and cream filling? DELISH!!! Congrats to Amanda & Aaron! Check out the full gallery below for even more Galia Lahav inspo from this epic wedding.
