the invitations
Soft pastels and gilded accents gave guests a hint of what was to come. Even the arches from the windows of the glass venue made an appearance on the wedding invitation suite.
an ephemeral venue
Set against the ethereal backdrop of an enchanting custom-built glass house at Ayana Resort Bali, Andreas and Arabella’s wedding was a modern-day fairy tale, a perfect blend of fantasy and elegance. The glass house, meticulously constructed from scratch for the occasion, stood as the heart of the celebration, echoing the bride’s love for Disney and bringing to life a magical world where love, beauty, and wonder intertwined.
the design: fairy tale floral wonderland
Guests embarked on the night’s journey through a long pathway lined with frangipani trees. The delicate blooms of Wisteria flowers—Arabella’s favorite—cascaded from these enchanting trees to create a stunning canopy, transforming the entrance into a breathtaking floral tunnel. Moving uplights illuminated the pathway, adding a sense of grandeur and magic as guests made their way to the glass house, where a dreamlike atmosphere awaited them. Inside, cascading drapery chandeliers hung from the ceiling, and the side walls and table centerpieces featured intricate drapery designs that played with soft, flowing fabrics, lending a romantic, whimsical feel to the evening. Soft glowing lights bathed the space in warmth, complementing the elegant table settings in soft pastel hues to elevate the hidden wonderland ambiance. Each detail was thoughtfully crafted, including the menu cards, which took the design cue from the window frames of the glass house, offering guests a subtle yet delightful reminder of the enchanting structure around them.
the fashion
These two are a couple after our own hearts. They had so many fit changes that we lost count! Arabella wore a classic lace gown with a mantilla-style veil for their church ceremony while Andreas selected an equally timeless look, a black tux. For their garden ceremony, the bride switched into a beaded column gown in a lovely shade of champagne and the groom switched things up with a white jacket. Then, when it was time to party, Arabella rocked a dazzling silver beaded gown with a matching cape!
a priceless favor
To make the event even more memorable, the couple hired a live painter to capture the magic of the evening through stunning portraits of the guests. These unique, hand-painted artworks served as meaningful souvenirs for their loved ones to take home, forever preserving a piece of this extraordinary day. With every corner of the event draped in beauty and grace, it was a celebration straight out of a storybook—a fairy tale come to life, where Andreas and Arabella’s love truly created their perfect happily ever after.
the cake
The towering six-tiered cake was framed by beautiful pastel floral arrangements and crystal chandeliers and seemed to defy gravity. Watching them cut this cake was like watching a magic act.
