Devin and Alexis first met in the Fall of 2019. Alexis was a senior in college while Devin was in town for a few nights as part of his Air Force duties. One fateful evening, as Alexis swiped through profiles on a dating app, she came across the striking image of a man she assumed was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base. She decided to take a chance and swipe right and received a notification that they were a match. As the two met, their conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and genuine connection. By the time last call had rolled around, they realized they had talked for 6 hours. Although Devin’s duty ultimately resulted in him being stationed in Japan, during which time he and Alexis didn’t talk, she eventually decided to search his name on social media and send him a message, uncertain if he would even remember her. In March of 2022, they had a second “first date,” and the rest was history when Devin proposed in August of 2023. The couple was married at Hibernian Hall with the help of Classic Planning and Design Co. and captured through documentary photography by Abby Hart Photography. It’s easy to see why these photos are a must-scroll!
