the destination: tuscany
Riley and Rob’s wedding in Tuscany at Tenuta di Rota was nothing short of a fairytale, set in their dream destination—an enchanting corner of Italy that seemed straight out of a storybook. Though the sky was heavy with clouds and the rain gently fell throughout the day, the couple embraced the weather with an open heart, turning what could have been an obstacle into something deeply magical. Designed by Silvia Ciolli, the outdoor ceremony, surrounded by vineyards and ancient olive trees, was held beneath a delicate rain, which only added to the romance. The rain became a blessing, a serene backdrop to their heartfelt vows, making every word spoken even more meaningful.
the vibe: traditional tuscan romance
Inside the warm, inviting villa, the reception blossomed like a Tuscan garden, filled with laughter, love, and the flavors of the region. When Riley and Rob shared their first dance under the stars, the rain paused just long enough to let them twirl in each other’s arms, as if the sky itself were blessing their love.
the flowers
Single-stem roses are definitely having a moment and we’re loving this interpretation of the trend by the talented team at Stiatti Fiori. The whimsical aisle, paired with a nebulous cloud of baby’s breath in lieu of a traditional floral arch gave the entire ceremony an other-worldly feel.
the fashion
The bride was radiant in a ruched silk gown with long lace sleeves and a detachable train for added drama. She kept her accessories simple, wearing timeless pearl earrings and a matching pearl pendant necklace. In sexy tousled waves, her hair was swept up in a dramatic 90s-inspired updo and finished with a chapel-length lace-trimmed veil. The groom opted for a timeless black suit and completed the look with a polished black bowtie.
