their love story
Going to the gym was a much-needed reprieve for Timbre while in law school, especially when she started working with a cute coach named Kevin. The two hit it off instantly over a shared interest in rock climbing and economic theory. After a year as “just friends,” Timbre and Kevin gave in to the inevitable and started dating. It’s only fitting that they would take the next step on a rock climbing adventure! After scaling a mountain in British Columbia, Kevin proposed to Timbre with a custom-designed ring made just for her.
the vision: rustic luxe
Inspired by the natural beauty of their ranch venue, Timbre and Kevin decided to bring a taste of NYC glamour to the mountains to honor their life together in the Big Apple with help from LP Creative Events. Surrounded by scenic views of the Rockies, the couple embraced rustic luxury for their intimate wedding retreat with plenty of wildflowers, greenery, and raw wood. They were married by a close friend on a deck overlooking Piney Lake with blue skies, lush forests, and misty mountains in the distance. Inside an open-air log pavilion, wooden guest tables were dressed with gauzy white runners, greenery garlands, and bud vases of wildflower arrangements by A Florae for an organic chic look and feel.
getting ready
This tented bridal suite has to be our absolute favorite part of this wedding! It perfectly embodies the entire vibe of the day and made for some seriously stunning photos. Take this as a sign to really put some thought into where you get ready. Trust us when we say, those are some of the photos from your wedding that you’ll cherish the most.
the fashion
Timbre dazzled in an ethereal jeweled gown customized with sheer gloves dotted with floral appliques, while Kevin sported a sleek black tuxedo.
the favors
Timbre’s mother hand-painted each table number with a different wildflower, while her sister’s mother-in-law shared a Greek tradition by creating bombonieres (favors) for each place setting.
photo guest book
We’re all for a creative guest book idea and we love that they let their guests take photos. Polaroids are a great way to capture the essence of the day and give your guests instant gratification.
champagne tower
We love that champagne towers are officially a thing again. We promise you that this small investment will pay off in dividends when you see the photos! Plus, it’s such a fun moment for you and your guests.
a late-night snack
Once the sun set, guests cozied up around the fire pit outside and indulged in a tasty s’mores bar and pastel-hued macarons.
