Suher with Forever Refined Events created a whimsical white wedding under the stars. The bride and groom really wanted a wedding design that reflected their love story. Romantic, classic, elegant and everlasting. Our bride Grace loves flowers and wanted to feel as if she was in a whimsical fantasy. Suher worked with the florist with To Be Designed to start the whimsical fantasy during ceremony as they focused on the main tree full of white flowers that felt like they grew from the ground up to the tree trunk. The reception area also had while florals everywhere that went perfectly together with the twinkle light open tent design.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Grace had planned to go to New York during spring time with her maid of honor and her sister. Alex (the groom) and the bride’s brother came so it became a little family/friend trip. Alex told her maid of honor he wanted to propose in New York.

So they only went for 4 days and on the fourth day they went to Central Park and started walking around and Grace noticed everyone else disappeared and they ended up in front of the little lake when he proposed. Grace didn’t really expect it but she thought it was so cool. She loved that he proposed at the park because it is somewhere that is always going to be there and a place they can visit forever.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Grace found her perfect dress at NEWHITE. As soon as Grace put on her dress, she fell in love with it. It naturally flowed and made her feel special. She had never seen herself in a gown or something big. Rather the intricate details really gave her a unique and timeless feel. She did cry when I tried it and knew it was the one. The accessories were very important to Grace. The earrings and the gloves, she felt so special and beautiful in her unique look. When it came time to lip and nail color iIt was red all the way. A reminder that being bold when needed is always important.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

The bride really wanted the bridesmaids to pick styles that suited their bodies and she knew the cliche of “you can totally wear that dress again” but seriously though, you “totally” can! She guided her bridesmaids to SHow Me Your Mumu to choose their style. The color needed to be neutral and classic, so they all went with the same color even though they had different dresses.. A color that has been worn before and will always be a classic tone to choose.

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]

The groom found this attire at Mens warehouse. They wanted Alex to look sharp and dapper. The groom wore a classic black tux, and staying true to his natural curls was important to both Alex and Grace. He wore that tux with so much style and strength. It was perfect!

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is known for their great food and the bride and groom loved how accommodating they were. It is true to say that the steak and seafood options were the perfect foodie experience for their guests.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]This was the big one. Our bride LOVED flowers and finer details. We made sure to keep her monotone neutral colors throughout the entire wedding. We chose delicate reflux’s flowers and created an aisle full of bloom blocked flowers. The best part was THAT TREE. We loved how TBD created a vision of White flowers that seemed like they grew from the ground up amongst the tree trunk. It was a sight for sore eyes.
There was a neutral floral print that adorned our stationery and napkins at reception. This gave us a little texture and added the perfect amount of non monotonous vibes that was needed to make our couples vision come to life.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”] Grace and Alex wanted a traditional wedding cake, rather than the popular dessert table style. As their designer/planner, Suher suggested they go big. They chose to go with a 4 tier cake full of whimsical flowers. Each layer of the cake was a different flavor, with the top blueberry hazelnut flavor being the couple’s favorite cake.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

For the ceremony the bride and groom chose to have Chiara Capobianco, a harpist play while everyone walked down the aisle. For the bride’s big entrance and walk down the aisle she had an award winning opera tenor, that happened to be her cousin Anthony Leon. During cocktail hour there was live music from Joseph Durant Music for everyone to enjoy!

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The couple chose to have a private first look in the garden of the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. Where they first saw each other for the first time and spent some moments together before the fun of their wedding day began.[/field]
