Hannah and Will’s wedding embraced a relaxed, natural, and organic aesthetic, blending sophistication with a laid-back feel that perfectly complemented their lakeside venue. They chose textures and colors to enhance the beauty of the surroundings, creating an elegant yet understated atmosphere.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Hannah and Will met the first night of college and built their relationship over eight years of laughter, letters, and love. Will proposed during a Thursday night date with a scrapbook of memories—and while the words may have gotten lost in a flurry of happy screams and tears, the answer was clear.[/field]

Hannah wore a sleek, timeless gown for the ceremony that was equal parts sophisticated and flattering, followed by a surprise reception look—a structured Anthropologie dress she tracked down across the globe just weeks before the wedding. The second look struck the perfect balance of flirty and formal, and yes—it was crowd-surf approved.

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Will wore two custom tuxedos from Q Clothier: a classic blue tux with black lapels for the ceremony, and a glittering, bold jacket with statement shoes for the reception. The personalized touch continued with a gifted watch that tied his looks together, making both outfits feel tailored to the moment.[/field]

Hannah and Will made sure to serve some of their favorite bites at the cocktail hour, including shrimp and oysters.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The décor leaned into an organic aesthetic with soft, natural tones and standout patterned tablecloths that brought both charm and intention to each tablescape. So much so, the couple had one made for their dining table at home as a forever anniversary keepsake.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The couple opted for a funfetti wedding cake—a nostalgic nod to celebration in its purest form—alongside a pie and ice cream station that added a playful, personalized touch to dessert.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The highlight of the reception? Disco dancers led guests from the reception to the after-party, setting the tone for an unforgettable night.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Guests were all transported from the Atlanta airport to the venue through prearranged shuttles. Upon arrival, they were greeted at the entrance and whisked to a private room where they were welcomed with a signature iced tea and private room check-in. Guests were also treated to a personalized gifting experience where they were given customized toile bags where they could “shop” for a variety of snacks, and items that would be helpful for their stay on the lake, such as sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray. As a surprise to the couple, we worked with both sides of the family to create a custom crossword puzzle about the couple. They love doing crosswords together, and we thought this would be a fun touch, personalized golf pencils, too, of course!

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

One of the most touching moments came when the couple wrote handwritten thank-you notes to each guest that were inside the envelopes where they found their dinner seating assignment, expressing gratitude and personal memories.

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

We also had an espresso truck on-site during dinner service, offering handcrafted lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty coffee drinks that gave guests a cozy little pick-me-up between courses and before hitting the dance floor. To add a sweet Southern touch, we featured a charming pie bar with a variety of classic Southern pies, giving guests a delicious and nostalgic alternative to traditional wedding cake.
