a modern love story
It began in the most modern of ways. Mindy and Dee matched on a dating app and he kept sending her long messages. Dee would occasionally reply. One day Mindy walked past her in real life and it turns out that Mindy is pretty cute! Taking it as a sign, Dee used her recruiter skills and found him online. They spoke on a Friday and met the following Monday, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Once they started talking they discovered they had so much in common. Mindy knew Dee was the one for him from the moment they met. For Dee, it all happened so quickly and naturally that she doesn’t even remember when they became “official”. In July 2022 they booked a holiday to Sorrento. It was the perfect opportunity for Mindy to ask the question that had been on his mind for some time. He asked Dee’s parents and her brother for their blessing, and they were all so full of joy.
a unique villa on the amalfi coast
Their dream wedding could only come true on the Amalfi coast in the unique setting of Villa Eva, a location with typical southern Italian architecture that overlooks the entire coast from above. The characteristic gardens of the villa are enchanted places, made unique by the spectacular pastel-colored flowers of spring–from pink and orange to yellow and purple (the MOB’s favorite color).
getting ready
On a rooftop terrace in their satin pajama sets, the bride and her girls popped bottles as they prepped for the big day ahead. After Beauty Livery finished their hair and makeup, the bridesmaids slipped into hot pink satin dresses while the bride donned a ballgown fit for a princess. The off-the-shoulder lace gown featured unique corsetry, a sultry nude lining, and 3-D floral embroidery that was perfect for the garden setting. The groom rocked a crisp light gray 3-piece suit that popped against the sun-kissed backdrop.
an emotional ceremony
Breathtaking arrangements by Isabelle Kirchner in a rainbow of colors combined with the checkerboard stepping stones on the lawn to create one of the most unique aisles we’ve ever seen.
During an emotional ceremony in the suspended garden, they exchanged their vows and honored the memory of the family members who had passed away.
the cake
For their cake, the couple chose a simple three-tiered buttercream frosted cake with fresh flowers in shades of ivory and peach.
a second look
As soon as dinner was over and the couple finished their first dance, the bride changed dresses and the real party (complete with a London DJ) could begin!
