the vibe: industrial romance
We partnered with The Pump House, the stunning new venue at Ironworks at Pencoyd Landing, for a styled shoot that beautifully showcased its modern industrial charm. This incredible space blends contemporary edge with romantic elegance, featuring statement floral wallpaper, a checkered bar floor, and a moody speakeasy—all with breathtaking views of the Schuylkill River.
Since opening in April, The Pump House has been eager to highlight its versatility and inspire future couples to see the venue in a fresh, dynamic way. Our vintage-inspired shoot brought that vision to life with an espresso martini tower, a funky mini cake, mismatched china bread plates, and countless unique details, my favorite being the baguette candle holder, that made the space shine.
Tryst Floral created an assortment of arrangements in a variety of vintage vessels that lined the entirety of the table. Local produce was scattered in to give the entire setting the rich, sumptuous feel of a modern banquet.
the invitations
We are loving the fine art trend in wedding stationery at the moment. From romantic scenes like the one depicted on the envelope liner to floral still lives like the velum seal on the invitation, we simply can’t get enough! We love how they paired the vintage invitation design with a crisp, clean font on the envelope to add a bit of a modern contrast.
the fashion
If you take anything away from this shoot please let it be how much your own wedding fashion contributes to the overall feel of the day. We are loving colorful suits for grooms and double-breasted jackets like this one are making a big comeback. Note how his rich brown shoes pick up the neutrals in the wedding colors and his suit pairs perfectly with the tile and wallpaper at the venue!
Now, the bride’s dress is *chef’s kiss* perfection! The romantic off-the-shoulder draping perfectly captures the essence of the wedding design and the flowing chiffon skirt is echoed throughout the entire day from the wedding welcome sign to the linens on the espresso martini table.
the cake
Buttercream wedding cakes have been trending for a moment now but we love this modern no-frills interpretation of it and the fresh flowers and fruit are a great call back to the table decor.
an espresso martini tower
Are you more of a cocktail couple? Ditch the traditional champagne tower for espresso martinis and keep the party going all night long!
