the vision: palm beach pretty
While Morgan valued the beauty and aesthetics of The Breakers and The Colony and took care to ensure her designs complemented the venues, the couple’s top priority was ensuring that their guests had an unforgettable time.
With the help of YSD Events, the planning process was smooth and straightforward, though definitely time-consuming! As a bride, I was very hands-on with the design and planning of every detail. I collaborated with Renny & Reed, a local Palm Beach vendor, for all the florals, custom light fixtures, and other unique structures. They were incredible to work with and truly understood my vision!
the invitations
Crisp white invitations with vintage bird stamps and bold green text gave the guests a hint of what to expect on the big day. But it’s the Monstera leaf insert for “The Night Before” itinerary that we simply can’t get over!
the venue
Morgan has been visiting Palm Beach since childhood, as her grandparents have a home there. She has fond memories of enjoying drinks and dinners at The Breakers with her family from a young age. When she and Marc began dating, it became a favorite spot for them as well. For Morgan, Palm Beach represents cherished family gatherings and her childhood, always making it her dream to get married at The Breakers.
the fashion
Morgan and Marc greeted guests in their finest resort wear, with Marc in a chic linen suit and suede loafers and Morgan rocking a vibrant floral-print midi-dress. Then, for the big day, Marc donned a deep blue tuxedo so he popped against his men who were sporting classic black. With the ocean sparkling in the background, Morgan graced the aisle in a romantic Mira Zwillinger tulle and lace dress with a delicate floral motif and champagne lining.
the flowers
My florist designed two custom hand-crafted glass shard hanging fixtures for either side of The Breakers’ Venetian Ballroom. Their grand scale and breathtaking beauty added to the ambiance, with the glass pieces reflecting the room’s changing colors throughout the night—it was truly mesmerizing.
words of wisdom from the happy couple
The weekend goes by so quickly, so when the wedding festivities begin, don’t stress over the little things that may come up. I truly believe that the bride and groom set the tone for the entire weekend and for the guests. If the couple wants a high-energy dance party, that’s the vibe that will fill the room, and that is exactly what we got!
