In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a high and lofty throne, and his train filled the temple.
Seraphim were standing above him; each had six wings: With two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet and with two they flew.
And one cried unto another and said: Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of his glory!
And the Thresholds shook at the voice of their shouting, and the house was filled with smoke.
then said I: Woe is me, I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips; for I have seen the king, the LORD of hosts, with my eyes.
then flew one of the Seraphim to me, having a live coal in his Hand, he with the tongs from off the Altar, took,
, and touched my mouth and said, See, and hereby are, your lips touched, that’s your fault of your will, and your sin atoned for is.
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? Who will be our messenger? I said: Here am I, send me!
