[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Zoey and Tyler’s wedding design was influenced by modern elegance, and celebrated Zoey’s east coast style with Tyler’s west coast effortlessness. Using Cielo Farms as the beautiful backdrop for a black tie affair, that was as elegant as it was fun! We used the wedding colors and modern touches from rentals. paper goods, and florals to set the scene for a night to remember. Cielo farms is such a beautiful and picturesque venue, Zoey and Tyler really wanted to show off the beauty and views of the venue. We really took cues from the colors around the venue, and wanted to create a fresh and modern feel for the wedding. We opted for an acrylic Chuppah so that the guests could take in the view of the Santa Monica Mountains at the ceremony as Zoey and Tyler exchanged vows. We also came up with a split floor plan with a mix of kings tables and rounds to create a sense of this is where we gather as family and friends, and then moved everyone to the all white dance floor to dance the night away! [field title=”Proposal Story”]Tyler’s POV: We traveled back to Zoey’s hometown (Easton, MA) for Thanksgiving. We had been there for a week before engagement day. The day started like every other day…I golfed with her dad in the morning and Zoey went out shopping with her mom. When her Dad and I finished our round, we came back home to prepare the house for the proposal while she was still out shopping. I had a handful of her closest friends from the East Coast come over to surprise her once I asked her to marry me. When she got home, I was Facetiming with my parents outside so I asked her to come outside to say hi. When she got outside, my parents asked to get a tour of her beautiful backyard (my parents were in on it, too). We were walking around the backyard when we got to a waterfall structure that her dad had built in the backyard. When my parents hung up, I got down on one knee and totally spaced on the speech I wanted to give, but I asked her to marry me and she said yes! Once that happened, her friends came outside to surprise her and Zoey was the most surprised human being I have ever seen in my life. It was awesome. Then we had a party all night to celebrate.[/field]
